I offer gentle sleep training for babies, toddlers and young children in Bristol and beyond. I help new parents and their children develop in the healthiest way that they can. Sleep is so important for the ongoing development of the brain and body of young children, and especially for new parents, knowing that your child is getting the right amount of sleep can be crucial for alleviating some of the concerns that you might be having.
But knowing what to do can be a minefield.
After working in early years since 2006 and becoming a certified sleep consultant in 2021 I can take the guesswork out of your sleep training journey!

Newborn, Toddler, and Up To 10-Year-Old Sleep Consultant
One of the biggest aspects that parents struggle with when it comes to raising their new-born is introducing a gentle and responsive sleep schedule. Sleep is so important for development - especially in the early stages of a new-born's life and for toddlers. At the Sleep Nanny , I offer help with introducing a healthy sleep schedule to your child, both alleviating some stress for you and allowing your child to develop a healthy relationship with sleep, feeling secure and happy in their sleep space with you for support!
New-borns and toddlers - as well as all other young children up to 10 years old - sometimes require professional and compassionate sleep training in order to find a sleep training solution that will work. This is because, just like our children, their sleep is individual and needs its own approach. And so at Sleep Easy Consultant, I’ll work to help you to ease your child into a schedule and build their self setting skills to benefit both you and your child.

About Kath, Sleep Nanny
Hi, I am Kath! A certified partner with the Sleep Nanny. I have worked in the early years sector since 2006. Since having my own children in 2015 I became a childminder supporting children and families. This is where my passion for sleep consultancy began. I was able to offer advise and support with regards to sleep and routines to the families I worked with.
During my studies to achieve my early childhood degree I loved learning about the different attachment theories. This alongside my knowledge of the effects of sleep deprivation on physical and mental health has lead me to prioritise this in my role today.
I underwent training with 'The Sleep Nanny Academy' and am now a fully certified sleep consultant. I work closely with a wealth of sleep consultants around the world.
I specialise in creating personalised sleep training plans and providing the necessary tools and resources to guide, support, and assist you in achieving your desired outcomes in an approach that you are comfortable with. Every parent has their own approaches and styles and I will work with you in line with your own parenting choices.
The essence of my work is to facilitate understanding by helping identify the source of the issues, so that you can effectively overcome them confidently and for the long-term.
There are a number of packages available depending on the level of support you require but all can be delivered online so location is not an issue!
I understand the weight and frustration of needing help but not knowing where to turn to first. I have been through it myself with my own children and only wish that I had the skills and knowledge I have now when my own children were smaller.
That’s why my mission is simple: give my clients the wellness education, tools and resources that they need to identify the cause of their problems, understand the processes to fix them, and put a plan together that’s personalized to your child's personality traits and your parenting style.
